Hum ishq karne walo'n pe iqrar farz hai,
Us husn-e-khud-pasand pe inkaar farz hai.
Acceptance is incumbent upon those who love
and denial is on the loved one
Apni sifat pe aye lab-e-jaan-baksh naaz kar,
Tujhper jo charasaziye beemar farz hai.
Thou must feel proud over thy attribute
As care of the sick of love is assigned to thee
Raushan hua isi se ye sara nizam-e-waqt,
Suraj pe apne noor ka izhaar farz hai.
The system of light of time has been illumined
Because the sun is bound to manifest its radiance
Baate'n mohabbaton ki maza dengi Vasl mein,
Is haal me to shokhiye guftaar farz hai
The expression of love is must during the joy of union
In such state the vivacity in words is delightful
Takmeel-e-daastan-e-kharabiye dil to kar,
Tujhper kayam-e-hashr dilaazaar farz hai.
Accomplish the tale of the annihilation of heart
Establish the doomsday as it is thy wish and thou art heart-rending
Jisne tujhe bahaar ka aaina kar diya,
Tareef uski khoobiye gulzaar farz hai.
One who has made thee the reflection of spring
Praise of that Creator is a part of thy duty
Har simt usne jalwe bikhere hain dil-fareb,
Ta'at shaoor-e-deedaye bedaar farz hai.
He who has diffused the beauty all around
Worship of Him O!power of awakened sight is due upon thee
Humne to saare farz wafa ke ada kiye,
Kuch aap per bhi sochiye sarkaar farz hai.
I have discharged all duties of loyalty
What have you done in that direction realize
Uski nazar mein Kaaba-e-maqsood hai 'Suhail',
Hum per nigah-e-yaar ka deedar farz hai.
In the eyes of beloved we see the desired pious pilgrim centre
And therefore to look at it becomes compulsory

nizam-e-waqt= samai ki vyavastha, izhaar= spashteta, shokhiyeguftaar= baton ki chanchalta, Takmeel-e-daastan-e-kharabiye dil= dil ki barbadika kissa, takmeel= poorna karna, kayam-e-hashr= pralay isthapit karna, dilaazaar=dil ko takleef pahuchane wala, khoobiye gulzaar= bagh ki sundarta, Ta'at=upasna, shaoor-e-deedaye bedaar= jagti hui aankhon ki chetna, Kaaba-e-maqsood=Lakshya ka pavitra isthaan, deedar= dekhna.
